This is where the frame was left after completely tearing it down and removing the front end forks, swingarm, rear wheel and shocks. Remember earlier that there was considerable rust and corrosion on it. Well, I had it professionally media-blasted and powder-coated with glossy-black powder - it's thicker than paint, more durable, and will maintain its finish far longer than paint every would.

Now the center stand didn't make it to the powder-coater...The bike didn't have one when I purchased it, so I had to get this one from Ebay. You see what it looked like when it arrived...Lots and lots of surface rust. Well, after a trip to my blast cabinet, it came out very nice and ready for paint.
